Convertible and Kids

I am thinking about ordering a MCC in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if anyone out there who has already taken delivery of theirs, has kids in car seats. How do they fit, what are the ages, etc? Any info will help in my decision between a hard top or a soft top.

Thanks

My decision to purchase a MINI was cemented when I saw a MCS (hardtop) with two child seats in the back.

The mini isofix seat is extremely well built but costs a fortune. It seems a shame it does not isofix in the front (isofix mountings in the front seem only to be available on 4 door cars for obvious(?) reasons.
My older children (6,8,9) fit quite well (but not all at once) in the front and back on booster seats (and love it). At the risk of boring people -get the keyed airbag decativation.

My 14 year old and 12 year old sons fit fine in the back - would be OK for journeys up to an hour I would think.
Hope that helps?

I have 2 boys (11 & 5) and they enjoy the car more than I do, both sit in it fine even when the roof is down.

United-States Many Thanks

Greetings from the Bayou...

Thanks for all the great info...I have a 5 (almost 6) year old in a booster seat and an 18 month old in a big ugly car seat. My 5 year old is so excited about getting a convertible. He told me the other day, "Mom, that means I have to get a really cool pair of sunglasses!" I have been going back and forth between a soft top and a tin top for awhile now. I have space issues, as well as, safety. My husband says because of the design (bulldog stance) and the roll bars, the safety issue is just my "mom paranoia" working overtime. I have always wanted a convertible and am getting rid of my Explorer. I am waiting to see a few of the new colors in person before I order it.

Thanks again for all y'all help.
