Offline | month on and still no probs!!! hello, i just thought i would report back on my astro black mcc after a month of ownership. i have had no problems at all so far and i am enjoying driving it immensly, it is a bit of a bu**er to keep clean but i even enjoy washing it weekly so not a problem really. i hope nobody is put off buying one because of some of the hassles people have been having, because they'd be missing out on a sweet little car if they were (all being well of course). sad to hear of some of the disappointments some buyers have had, but it hasn't been bad for all of us so good luck to everyone. regards julie ![]() |

| 1151bhp/tonne | Nice to know there are some happy owners out there. I was beginning to have second thought about getting a convertible, but I aqm hopeful that any teething troubles there are out there will be resolved before mine arrives. ![]() Black to the future.... |

| MINI2 Regular | Don't be put off!! Hi We too have an astro black MCC and it's great. There's always teething problems with a new model - we had one of the first Peugeot 206CC's before the MINI and that was always in at the dealers, our MCC has been back but mainly pre-delivery things like a scratch on a side window. Yes, these things should have been picked up before we had the car but it was only delivered on a Friday and we picked it up on the Saturday morning so 10 out of 10 for Carrs of Bury St Edmunds for turning it around so quickly and fitting several dealer fit options. One thing I will say is that any probs we've had Carrs have sorted it, with the Peugeot our dealership were always saying there's nothing wrong with it or we can't do that under the warranty, not a good experience! So go buy a MINI convertible, it's a great little car and everyone we know loves it!! Cheers Michael (MD1) & Kate (Mrs MD1) ![]() |

Offline | No Problems Yet !!! Hi Andy here, i've had my MOC for 1 week now,and have no problems yet (touch wood) with the car....However........................ Birmingham having a windy day on Monday, bought an unexpected problem... In the form of a teracotta plant pot landing just above the rear passenger indicator.. OUCH !!!! And at a cost of £750 to repair was a costly first week in my minis life....... So if anyone knows anywhere more reasonable to de dent her, let me know !!!! |
