England Happy, not happy!!

Picked up new MCSC in HB today!! First off - dealer fitted spotlights not fitted, second - wrong interior finish fitted (regular alloy patina in place of silver), third - no interior chrome pack fitted, fourth - slight scuff rear quarter, fifth - scuffs interior door trim & gearlever surround, sixth - no pouch for wind deflector.
Result, refund of £421, with the promise of getting all sorted Friday plus chrome interior for free.
Apart from that, I'm absolutely made up with it!!! Especially the popping etc from the exhaust. Rattles and noise nowhere near as bad as some posts suggested (there was some, but I can live with that (on a par with the noise from panoramic sunroof of my 03 cooper)
Bit chilly at the moment, but can't wait to try out driving with the hood down, surely there will be at least one dry bright day this year, here's hoping.
Pic's to follow..........

WildH,

Congrats.

Chilly? Why would that matter? That's what coats, wind-proof gloves, ear-muffs and the heater are for!

As winter approaches I break out the mountain climbing clothes and use the gear for both topless driving and snow camping!

Glad you like the car. Bit of a pain about the missing bits though.

Enjoy

GLad you are enjpying the car & hope it gets sorted to your satisfaction. Similar thing happened to my M8 with his-he is driving the car with the wrong spec until a properly specced one arrives with minial depreciation!

If you are not happy once they have changed it dont be afraid to stand your ground & get a new car/get it sorted. Discount is nice though...

hope it hasn't taken the shine of the car though, as they are great!!
