Offline | My experience I had good results with Raggtop on my 328iC but after applying 2 coats of Raggtop to my Cabrio roof I did not get the water beading that I expected. Have ordered some 303. Hopefully I will see the water beading that indicates a good application. |

Offline | Hey indimini, how's the 303? I'm waiting for my 303 to arrive. Did you apply yours yet? Any problems applying it to a cold top? It's supposed to warm into the 50s tomorrow and Thursday so I am hoping I receive mine so I can apply it before the weekend rain arrives. After two applications of Raggtop, my top is still not beading up the water like my 328iC top did. Only thing that was different was the outdoor temperature as I recall it was warm when I treated my BMW top. See you on Sunday. |

| MINI2 Senior | I'm hoping to get the Zaino and 303 on this Friday when it is reasonably warm before the rain. I wasn't convinced that the 303 would go on well in these cold temps (even w/ the car being garaged). See you Sunday. Hopefully my car will be all shiny. ![]() |

Offline | Speaking of tops Brought my MCSC to the dealer today for some maintenance work. Without asking me, they washed my car. What sent me over the edge is they dried the top with a towel that COVERED my pristine black top with lint. I'm getting to really hate my dealer... |

Offline | And they probably think they've done you a favor. I think we might need to make up a batch of large professional looking signs to leave in our windows that say "Please...Do Not Detail The MINI. Really. I Mean It!". \ Peter...who will look into the cost..in Denver |

Offline | Oh Peter ...you should have seen my beautiful top, covered in fuzz!! Full of swirl marks on its sides! They were all smiley "Look we washed your car for you." Then to get in my car to find they had put the wrong stereo in...but that's for another post. |

Offline | Just gave Benny a thorough top cleaning and 3 coats of Raggtopp. The job took place over a few days...I let the top dry 2 days after washing...then a day between coats. I used the technique of laying plastic sheeting over the interior, then closing the top so the plastic protected the windows and forward body. I taped off the rear body at the beltline and used plastic draped to protect it. Finally I taped the rear window. Took one can to do all three coats. Water beads and runs like Mercury. Photo attached. (Ever try to get a photo of water in focus on a cloth top as it's getting ready to run off?) Peter and Benny...with a very well protected top...in Denver |
