Took a nice Open ride ..... putting on a few more miles toward break-in..saw 3 other MINIs...all CR...all returned my wave...then came home and did a proper hand wash so this weekend when it gets cold and crappy out I can do all the detailing I've been wanting to do.

Yep...can't think of a better way to end the year.

I also did some top down driving to end the year...who would have thought? last day of December in Wisconsin and it's 45 degrees. Need to do the wash thing though...

Went to a MINI meet last night in NYC. Found this awesome sign, and just had to put my top down going through Time Square. It was after midnight so it was offically New Years Eve day.

60 degrees here outside of our Nation's capital. Perfect end-of-year topdown motoring weather. And perfect weather to put 3 coats of Zaino on the car.

. Boy does it shine.

I'm looking forward to starting the New Year with meeting rmorin and howardpm for a beer and a mini MINI convertible gathering (The 3 carbrioeros, lol!)

I don't think there is enough alochol in the world to make up for all my mini issues. And today is so nice 68 here in VA, I'm trying to find locations to drive for no other reason then to show off the car with the top down. Where oh where would a lot of people be!

The upscale mall areas...the trendy old neighborhoods with the outside cafes and coffee shops...Big Zoo's and Attractions...

Not that I've ever given this any thought..that would be wrong.
