| MINI2 Senior | MINIUSA Follow-up I just got the call from MINIUSA asking me how I liked the new convertible and if there was anything I'd change. Jeez, I felt like a goofy teenager getting a call from some girl I had a crush on. I couldn't think clearly - just kept gushing about how much I love the car and except for the clock position I wouldn't change a thing. ![]() It's January 4th and 65 degrees outside. May need to take a break and just go drive. ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | the chrono pack is horrible im sorry.. I can say the info on the chrono pack is really good, but the looks, all the needles on the instruments points different directions, the lights on one side, I'm sorry I think the designer had a lack of good taste. Cheers. |

Offline | Again, I COMPLETELY disagree with you on this one. The chrono pack looks outstanding in my opinion and I absolutely LOVE it (and it looks really good at night too)! I can't stand having the speedo in the center of the dash and so I ordered the chrono pack just to move it up on the steering column with the tach. I'm very happy with my decision. Different strokes for different folks I guess (and that's the beauty of owning a MINI)... ![]() |

Offline | I am trying to work out a solution for the dirty rear windows (no, I don't mean a detergent solution). Solution number 1 obviously is to have your rear window disintegrate into a million gazillion pieces of pre-stressed glass like some of our compatriots have had happen. This gives you a clear view rearward and also gives you that open air experience even with the top up. SERIOUSLY though - my solution is to use the same trick that long distance truck driveres have used for years to keep their outside rear mirrors clear. They attach pieces of material so that they blow about in the slipstream and they wipe the mirrors clean continuously. I believe that we should be able to moount some threads or stramers above the rear window which would do the same thing for our rear windows and keep them clear of the dirt. At the moment I am trying to decide whether one or two would be best - I think one would work and create a cleaned patch the shape of a "wiper arc" as for attaching it maybe "DUCTTAPE" has some particularly strong tape that would do the job... |

Offline | I received an Email survey from MINIUSA focused on the dealer/ buying experience and handover. I also received an invitation from MINIUSA to come down to the dealer and take a test drive of the New Convertible... 4 weeks after I took delivery of mine Nice of them to think of me though.Oh. and..got a call on Saturday from my MA to tell me that he'd spoken with some version of Western Region Manager about the Rear Foglight and that while it can be spec'd now on new orders they don't expect to have retrofits available until Spring. Peter...well served...in Denver |

Offline | I had Don't feel to bad, my MA told me she was disapointed that I sent a letter to BMW complaining about my leak. I tried to explain to her I didn't even mention her name and it wasn't really her dealerships fault. Howard |

Offline | Well, I never even received an evaluation of my dealer after I bought the car. They messed up the spec, so it's no wonder I wasn't asked to evaluate. I think that's why some dealers brag that they have such good reputations: it's selection bias. They only ask people who had good experience to fill out evaluations. |
