Hi

For some reason when you operate the roof, the windows on my wifes MCSC only drop about 3 inches and stay there until you then press the window down button. It used to drop the windows completely before the roof. I have looked at the videos on here and confirms the windows should drop completely before the roof operates.

I have read the manual and it says to reset the windows (after the battery has been removed, which it hasn't) you press the up buttons together but this has had no effect. Is there another way to reset them or is it a trip to the dealer?

Mine has always been that way when using the button above the windscreen to drop the top. However, for some reason when you use the button on the key, the windows go all they way down. Just another one of those funny quirks with these cars I guess.

Yeah that's just how mine works as well. Press the roof down button and the rear windows retract fully and the fronts only a few inches, so if you keep holding the down button the windows go back up.

But
Did you know that you can put the top down with the unlock toggle switch??

I just looked that up in the manual and sure enough, another way to open the top. You know, I love this car but I sometimes think it could have been simplified a bit.
