Windows Rattle

When your top is up and the windows are up, do you hear your windows rattling at all. Mine seem to rattle a bit. Thanks
Jeff

Lots of people have had this issue (including me). Your dealer will be able to rectify quite easily.

I dont know about rectifying easily. My MCC has just gone in for its 2nd new roof and for about the 8th time to sort out the rattling windows, which are now worse than EVER. Apparantly, this time they are going to replace the runners, (or something ) The windows have been VERY annoying.

TOP OFF AT LAST. (Everybody be cool, you, be cool.)

Mine has gone in four times for the rear window rattling and every time it's not fixed. I'd say it's the exact opposite of easy rectificatiion.

The sound is coming from the area where the rear window seals with the roof. I tell this to the dealer every single time I take it in, and every single time they felt or add grease to some other area or part telling me that it sounds fine on the test drive. Idiots.

Hopefully if they final finish fitting my new roof after 4 days, I won't have any rattles. But when I said I expect a them to come out with my before I sign for the car, the guy didn't sound very happy.

But I live in hope!!!!!

Same here. They grease window rubbers, it's fine for a day or two and then the rattle/clicking comes back with a vengeance. The dealers have done my windows 4 times now and even replaced them when I had the first roof change as they suffered from the semi-circular scratches, which by the way are coming back on one side. When I got car back, rattling was worse as the window was loose. They adjusted it back and the problem was back to normal. I am going to try felts pads to try and cure it. Will let you know how I get on.

I have had rattling but found that it came from the passenger side seat belt. If I secure it, the rattle stops. *I hope my windows won't start rattling*
