Offline | Yep had this problem for my car I bought in Oct of 04. Its fixed now but required a 4 page letter to BMW. One dealer even told me to bring a towel in my car. Either way it turns out the seals were bad. Howard |

Offline | Leak Thanks Howard hopefully I won't have that much of a problem, booked in for Monday will let you know how I get on as am also getting the rear windows (scratches) replaced and also mentioned the roof wear so I hope they will just do the honorable thing and replace it |

| MINI2 Newbie | Sorry to hear about your leaking roof, insist that your dealer gets it fixed and tests it thoroughly - although the roof does have issues (wear, occasional failure) one thing I will say is that my MCC is (thankfully) absolutely watertight. I was on the M25 last night in the most ferocious thunderstorm, which followed me most of the way to Cambridge. Never seen rain like it, was relentless for at least an hour. However - not a drop got in, and it had been standing outside for about an hour in an equally relentless storm before I drove off. Must admit am very impressed. Good luck with the fix. |
