Offline | I.ve got a deposit down for a new convertible with my local dealer who advised me that it should hit the UK tarmac earlyish to mid 2004. BESPOKE design currently make MINI convertibles to order. £16995 for a MINI ONE Convertible. Buy the latest issue of Redline magazine (don't know if they have a website), there's a big feature on it. I would rather wait for the BMW effort though, your MINI dealer might notice the modification when it comes to warranty claims!! ![]() Sold MINI, Bought Volvo V40 TD. I Feel Dirty! |

Offline | Let me be the first to offer up a deposit on a 5 door. I know it may not be very "Mini" but, although I love my S, my wife is dying to have a MINI. Problem is, with the 3 year old in the back it gets a little tight. A MINI Clubman would be ideal and make us a two MINI family. When we get confirmation on this, my deposit is ready. -Mike Hoping for two in the garage!! ![]() "As cunning as a fox named Cunning...." |

Offline | I live very close to Gaydon, so spotting prototypes all the time....(theres been about 2-3 cooper S' around for ages). My Dealer - says he has driven 2 convertibles at gaydon, one with hard-folding roof (similar to 206 CC) and one with fabric roof. They are deciding which one to go for - hard roof takes place of rear seats. He has his name down for one already and they should be out summer 2003. ![]() |
