Dealer recalled car.

My dealer asked me to bring the MINI in for a recall. Something about redirecting cables in the harness. Mine is MCSC and April 05 build. Any one else got this?

Major work for an ‘03 MC

Our ‘03 MC would not start the other day, called the dealer, they said they would
“send a tow truck for the car to be brought in, the dead battery should not be jump started.” The next day they called saying the engine harness needed replacing,
the head gasket needed replacing and something about the steering module???
needed work. This concerns me and I am definitely not keeping this car beyond the warranty.

My Niece is staying with us at the moment and she works in the service dept for Sytner BMW @ Gerrard's cross, she said she saw something about an "on-hold" recall for mini's to do with "ABS wiring harness" she only works on the BMW stuff so picked this up in office banter with the Mini staff. I'll see if she can find out more when she goes back next week
