So how many miles out of a tank on a MCSC?

Has anyone ever got more that 250 miles out of a tank full of petrol on a MCSC? Whats the minimum miles anyone has got out of a tank?

Two weeks today I get mine, can't wait!

Cheers

I get about 220 miles around town. More on the motorway. (JCW MCSC)
mpg gets better with time (and miles)
I always use Optimax
To be honest though I don't worry about economy...........
The "miles until empty" display is useful though!

your not trying hard enough

I get around 200 - 220 on a good tank with my MCSC JCW, but you are right, there is no point worrying about it, you can't put a price on the fun you get from the MCSC JCW

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?

No S here, but I try to get the most out of my tank. I must be getting old (37)... I'm currently on pace to get 500 miles out of my MCC.

OBC complaint

This brings up a a gripe I've had with the OBC. It should include a total trip duration along with miles to empty. I hate that the trip odometer is on the speedo tied in with the clock button. I like to always have the clock present, and when I fill up, I reset all the data on the OBC. I usually forget to reset the trip odometer, therefore not being able to calculate the MPG by hand. I've found the OBC calculation is usually 2-3 mpg low.

Minor complaint I know, but it always seemed to me that that info should be tied directly with the OBC.

Highway driving, seems to me I get well over 350 MPT, closer to 400. For my city driving, I get about 275 (MCSC).

Highway trip

I usually don't let it get very low. I did a trip from Fort Worth back here to Lubbock (a little over 300 miles). When I got back I had about 3/8th of a tank left. Thats with a MCSCa with JCW intake.

I must be doin something wrong!

At first I was getting slightly more than 200 miles out of a tank!

Then after the car was broken in it went below 200 miles to a full tank!

Now I'm on driving with very low revs and getting closer to 300 miles as the price for petrol has shot up!

Its so random as I do the same trip to work every day using the same roads pretty much simlar traffic conditions and when I'm holiding back and not putting my foot down (being good) I end up with exactly the same as when I'm foot down (being naughty).

The only comment I can make is that I'm around the 7000 mile number atm and it seems to be getting better with each fill up!

I took a photo on my phone when I got it to 100 miles on the first quarter of a tank couldnt believe it so gonna frame that one!

I have MCSC "JCW" and have just got 360 miles my tank when fuel warning light came on, so was on for possible 410 miles.

Least i've got was 195 miles (you can guess how i was driving that day )
