Cooper D chrome line exterior

The pictures of the Cooper D at Geneva, have the chrome line exterior on the front bumper. I think a lot of people were hoping that the initial pictures of the CD without the chrome on the bumpers would make production. I like chrome stuff but think the CD looks better with the non-chrome bumper.

As it is virtually unheard of now for a Cooper to be bought without either the PEPPER or CHILI Pack I doubt you'll see one any time soon.

I agree. My wife was shocked by these pictures. She is going for a CD and she likes the look without the chrome stuff very much. Really not well done, BMW !

I hate it too!

really wan to get rid of the chrome rings on the front fog lights....and then the rear too.

anyone know if there are any holes or unsightly bits behind the F/Fog rings??...will it look bad if i remove them??

But on the other hand...

...it may deter gravel chips a bit better.

You won't be able to just remove them Barry, as it will leave a really obvious gap where they used to be.

You could, however, replace them with the non-Chrome Line Interior ones that your dealer will be able to order for you.

Spraying chrome, even plastic chrome, probably won't be entirely successful!
