The Dooper is back - one teeny weeny clip in the gearbox linkages had come adrift, and caused the havoc!

Quite enjoyed the little Convertible for bombing about in the last few days - even had the roof down for a bit yesterday (but with the air con on red hot, and hat, scarf and gloves on me!!). Bit wobbly at times, and rear visibility is shocking, so glad to be back to my Dooper now :-D

Could be tempted to go topless for the next car - but would be TT or Z4 shaped though...

lol, yeah, I was dossing about then, and carried on until the middle of April! Been temping at Heysham POwer Station since then, and also going to a few interviews up, down and across the country (***'s law, that as soon as I started working, albeit temp, that things on the job front would start to move!)

Anyway, today Dooper is 1! Can't believe how quickly the year has gone, what I have done, and where I have gone in just under 17k miles - down to Cornwall when only a couple of weeks old (and the near death experience with the horse box!

), across to London (the same week, so nicely run in there then!), many a trip to Manchester and around and about the north west, a few London and Oxford trips, the first voyage to bonnie Scotland and the joyous experience of the breakdown in the underground car park in Manchester!

Still loving the Dooper loads, but think next time (a couple of years away, at least, unless I get a job in London, and that could be the end of a decent car for a bit) will probs be something different.... liking the look of Alfa Mito, and VW Scirocco at the mo....

17k is pretty impressive, least you got a Derv then!
