Cool Cooper Diesel Spot lights

Hey there has anyone who has bought a new cooper diesel had any spot lights fitted? I ordered some when i ordered the car. I took delivery on 21 April and are still waiting for the lights to be fitted!! Apparently mini uk or whoever had'nt realised the cooper diesel need a different grille for the spot lights!! 5 weeks has passed now and still no grille. I really expect better from a premium brand especially when you pay for the lights up front! Any one else had this delay?

I also wanted spotlights and was told the same - waiting for my dealer to call me when the brackets /grille are done.

Also found that the windscreen is a totally different shape to previous and has to be ordered in specially at the moment .

the difference with me was that the dealer has'nt a clue and tried 3 grilles before realising something was a miss, they then said it would be 2 weeks for delivery, that however, was 4 weeks ago and not a thing since! Can't wait to take it in as the front number plate is so far off square its embarrasing, there is a screw cover missing off the back plate (trivial i know but hey it should be right) and to put the iceing on the cake, i was invoiced £50 for the road tax, when infact the disc says £35! Cheeky buggers! No wonder they are down in the JD power survey!

Cooper diesel spotlights

Anyone had them fitted yet? Was told by mini that the new grilles would be at the dealers by the end of may. Not so. Have contacted mini again today (31st may) to ask what is going on and aked for a freebie to ease the pain of forking out £325 for the lights and still not having them on my car! Fed up with them to be honest.

cooper D spot lights

Well that is interesting, thanks for that! I have been waiting 6 weeks now and still nowt from mini....pathetic! I have emailed them and asked for a freebie as they don,t give you owt for nowt anyway so i thought what the hell, they have kept me waiting for 6 weeks they can ease the pain by giving me something back! When i picked the car up i was offered a full tank, which i greatfully accepted.... but alas it was half full! Tight or what. The salesman just smiled when i moaned about it! Anyway i will wipe that smile off his face when the lights are eventually fitted....the number plate is off square, and the invoice had £50 road tax on it and we all know its £35! Cheeky sods! So all in all Mini are not that great at the moment.

I'm also waiting for mine. It's not really the dealer's fault ....... I'll wait another 4 weeks and will write an official complaint to BMW Germany.

Still nowt from mini uk, waited eight weeks now for this new grille. They keep saying it will be 2 weeks and that was 2 months ago! Not good enough.
