Well I have just ordered mine earlier today, Lightning Blue, black roof, mirrors and bonnet stripes, 16" Bridge Spokes, chilli pack, cloth/leather pacific blue interior, piano black interior trim, smoker pack and heated mirrors/washer jets. But I suppose it doesn't count yet as it wont arrive until mid September! Its going to be a long countdown for the next 3 months! Came in at 50 quid under 17k.

I got mine May 8th, had a Cooper S rear spoiler and chrome fuel filler added and the wheel arches and skirts colour coded, looks the biz... wished i'd waited for 2008 model, but hey i've got one of the first Cooper D's like I had one of the very first One D's!

When I placed my initial order, it was due to be delivered early August. However, after speaking to another dealer (not the one I was buying from!) he suggested waiting a couple of weeks for the 2008 model (manufacture starts in week 31). I went back to my dealer and 'booked' a later slot on the line, with the added benefit of the 57 plate. For no extra pennies I get the extra goodies, leading to better mpg

When I ordered mine (couple of weeks ago) I paid the 'cheaper' price for all my options, despite the fact that the price had already gone up online. I don't know if MINI have now updated their systems with the increase or not.

My missus and I bought a Dooper each, at the same time but from different dealers (long story) and I paid old prices and she paid new. Difference to a £17.5k, reasonably specced Dooper was £35. Not a lot, but why are they different - delivery due same week too.

I ordered my 2008 Cooper D a few weeks ago, for delivery at the beginning of September. It's got just about every option, except the sunroof and the sports suspension, Nightfire Red with black roof, silver bonnet stripes, silver Union Flag, spots and a few other bits and bobs.

The SatNav and Bluetooth are both crazy prices on these cars, but since I'm used to them in my Alpina, and they both come in very handy in London, I had to add them.

Here's hoping Ken follows up on his promise to exempt the Doopers from the congestion charge in 2008!

Orderd my wife a dooper yesterday for sept delivery should have been £19,170 paid £18,600 what a result . Can't wait for the fun to begin hope to get cooper s as well in march if all goes well with the dooper. I will post some pictures as soon as i get her.

got ours 4 weeks ago , its absolutely fab , perfect so far . So fast ,brilliant brakes and cornering. love it. i wish id got the retro filler cap and upgraded music system tho. The engine is so quiet on tickover,only noisy on low revs till you pull away but we love the diesel growl it does then.
