Online | Nice motor. I was tempted by Astro Black, but decided to go for a more 'unique' colour and got Lightning Blue, although I have gone for the white roof. Have a look at the Piano Black interior trim, it is worth considering. Initially I also went for the Pacific Blue colour line, but have now removed it. Enjoy. |

Online | I have not put the bonnet stripes on, but having dealer fitted white Sports stripes on the bonnet and rear (£100 incl fitting). If you have a black roof you could fit either the Sports, Racing or Viper stripes, and also have the stripe over the roof? |

Online | Brushed Alloy is fine, but I had 3 dealers independently recommend Piano Black as the 'best looking'. Like most options it is personal opinion, but on this one I agree with the dealers. For everything on my spec, I sat in a car that had it already installed, as I don't want to make a mistake on my Dooper (if I can help it!) |

| Dooper Driver! | I have specced Piano Black on my Lightning Blue/Black roof and bonnet stripes Dooper too, I am considering fluid silver or brushed alloy as well, off to the dealers later to try and see them all in the flesh before I finally make up my mind. Car is being built next month, for September delivery, I can't wait to get it! I think I am going to get the MFSW as well now, but I am still agonising over whether to get the tinted rear windows or not and the HiFi upgrade. Any thoughts on these? |

Online | JR - I put the MFSW on - in fact it is my latest addition. Cruise control and the ability to operate the stereo from the wheel are great for £170 - I also think the wheel looks better. If you change your mind later, apparently the MFSW will set you back £700. I have put the tinted windows on, as I believe the car looks better - personal opinion. Again value for money, the tinted windows are a very fair price. Didn't upgrade the stereo myself, as the improved sound quality isn't worth the extra money to me. |

| Dooper Driver! | Well I am back from the dealers now and have added MFSW, tinted rear windows and HiFi upgrade to the list - that's another £600 odd spent! I often carry equipment in the back so the darkened glass will help security a bit, keeping things away from prying eyes and will make the car cooler in the summer too (if we ever get one) and for the money it seemed reasonable, certainly cheaper than going for it later. Similarly the HiFi upgrade, I am a radio broadcast engineer by trade and appreciate good sound, I originally considered upgrading the speakers myself but it seems there is a lot of work to get the rears out. I tried both standard and upgraded systems in the showroom and the upgrade sounded far superior, having the tweeters in the windscreen pillars sealed it for me as the soundstage was so much better and crisper. I have decided to stick with Piano Black for the interior after looking at the fluid silver in the showroom. Car should now be with me around 7th Sept - yippee! |

Offline | Piano black is nice but can mark easily. I'm talking about very fine scratches in the lacquer like you can get in your external paint. These are only visible if bright light hits it in a certain way - so not a BIG deal. Just take extreme care on how you wipe it - I would only use a very soft microfibre cloth. Red/Black R56 Cooper |
