Hello,

Still waiting to test drive the Mini Cooper D and was wondering what extras you would recommend:

I was thinking of getting the Chili pack of course and the following:

17" Crown Spoke Alloys - Will this affect the drive for the worst?
Bi Xeon (Is ther that much of improvement over the standard headlights)
HiFi Speaker System

The bi-xenon are a must for night driving. The difference from the normal lights on my car to the MCS we picked this week is amazing.

I compared the standard speakers and the HiFi upgrade this week, and decided to go with the HiFi, it makes a big difference. I thought about adding better speakers at a later date but it's a lot of work to change them, and a lot easier if it's done at the factory. If you like your music then go for it.

personally I would never order a MINI without the MFSW and the visibility pack.

Yer, the MFSW is a great option box to tick (Even £170 for Cruise Control is pretty reasonable, but to have the Audio Controls thrown in, its great, and even better with the iPod option) however, can't comment on the Vis pack option.
