Offline | 57 plate Dooper arrives My salesman dropped my 57 plate Dooper off on my drive at 4pm. The good news? The car looks great, and is everything I hoped it would be. The bad news? I can't drive it until midnight! I have attached a couple of photos for your viewing pleasure - only 2 because it was trying to rain, and I was itching to get it into the cosy dry garage! It will look completely different by next Thursday, as Phil from Mini Pirate is coming to put some stripes on for me - can't wait. |

Online | A very nice car! Looking at your's parked there, I can't wait until I get my new MINI next week! Delivery of the car to your house? - what a great service! Go on - bring it for a spin! Surely they would let somebody off driving the car a few hours early! ![]() |

Offline | With the car now sat in the garage (nice and dark in there) here is a picture of the majority of lights. Apart from the blue on the temperature selector, the rest of the blue is reflections from the internal lights. Something else that i have already noticed is that the chrome interior reflects in the drivers wing mirror! |

Offline | Hi Harpo, there is no DAB, but I do have USB/Bluetooth On top of all the manuals for the car (which includes the Clubman) there is an additional one for Phones/Bluetooth - too much to read! |

Offline | Will do Stiggy. All I know so far is the Audio In and USB connections are well hidden - found them eventually. Intend to give the Bluetooth a go ASAP with the mobile phone. I have a Parrot Bluetooth on the other motor, so it will be interesting to see how they compare. This option appealed to me as it comes with the multifunction steering wheel and armrest (2 items I wanted) and when its price dropped by £300 I was in! |

Offline | Been and plugged my ipod into the USB on the car. As I have already said, its very difficult to find, and its not much easier to plug something in once you've found it. Fortunately from this point things improved. The radio screen allows you to choose a source and I selected USB. After a brief fiddle with the menus (does anyone read all these manuals?) I soon had it set up similar to my ipod. You can scroll through Artists, Albums and Tracks, and there also appears to be a random feature. I am happy with the USB feature - charges your ipod too ![]() |

| 1151bhp/tonne | I was hoping the USB was going to be in the armrest like in the three series, that way I could hide my ipod, so a bit dissapointed really. Although it does work well and it is easy to scroll through the menu's (I have the sat nav) and find what you are lookng for. ![]() Black to the future.... |

Offline | I would suggest that you can easily hide your ipod in the space under the USB input. A nice dark well hidden recess. Also just had a go with the Bluetooth feature. It is so easy to set up. Operates in a very similar way to the Parrot systems - very user friendly. Made a couple of calls to check all worked fine, and it did. Where is the mic hidden? Volume control, and starting and ending calls is all easily performed from the multi function steering wheel. I am a happy bunny! |

Offline | Stiggy - it took me a while to find the USB myself. It is under the lip below the electric window switches. There is a space in the armrest, for a phone or a bag of sweets! Mini will supply (at an additional charge of course) a cradle which fits inside the armrest for your phone - only certain models are catered for. Obviously with Bluetooth, it is possible to leave the phone in your pocket. Aldo - my car is from Chester, and I commute their daily. From this Thursday my Dooper will have some of Mini Pirates finest stripes on it. Give me a wave! |
