My title says it all, I am from the low emissions and great fuel economy thinking of a Cooper D instead of a Cooper. I have yet to test drive a Dooper but like all the figures on paper.

BUT, there is no way to search for a Dooper on Mini Cherished. Also I think the whole site needs an overall so you can spec certain options you want such as Multi Function S/W or Bluetooth/USB etc.

Does anyone else find the Mini site a bit dated???

Yeah deffo needs some extra options added to narrow the criteria down, would the Cooper D not come under Cooper?

Have you looked under 'MINIs Coming Soon' Paul?

Part of the standards that MINI dealerships have to satisfy is that all their demonstrators have to be advertised on the MINI Cherished website, and seeing as the first Cooper D demonstrators must be near, at or even over the 3 months old mark they should be on there by now.

I agree that an 'Advanced Search' option is way past due on the site, especially as the number of used MINIs out there is far higher than it has ever been before.

I have done but wanted to make a point that it is waaaay past an update. Autotrader searches better than Mini's official site. Shame on them.

Still Cooper or Dooper choice for me tho!

There was a Cooper D for sale at my local dealer for £15.425 and it looked good in SS with black roof and bonnet stripes and bridge spokes

but thats were it ended, it had no aircon,leather steering wheel,crome or anything!!!!!!!!!

You're better off searching the 'cars coming soon' feature on your local dealers website - my local one has a couple of Cooper D's listed now.

Go here.... Welcome to Sytner Leicester authorised MINI dealership, click on 'minis coming soon' - the first Dooper is on Page2.

I guess they haven't had chance to add a Cooper D option on the main site yet!

Yes the Cooper Ds are like Hens Teeth! I have been looking for a cherished model for weeks.

I have manged to get a showroom car from the Scotthall Hampshire. It is an Cooper D auto with a good spec. I even got a little discount and the wheels upgraded from 16 to 17in. I think the dealers are approaching end of September sales performance.

Lots of people from MINI read this forum, I think it saves them spending onmarket research!

Are there set times of the year the update/correct stuff like that as I wondered with the stop/start implementation in September if they would do something about that centre console. They could have fixed the Radio Boost also while they were at it!

MINI haven't actually admitted that there is a problem with the audio system, so it's highly unlikely they will announce any changes to it if they do.

As for general product changes, they occur in March/April and again in August/September (when the new Model Years are launched).
