| MINI2 Regular | Dooper lead time I was wondering what kinda lead times I would be looking at if I ordered a new Dooper. I am yet unsure when I am going to get it but thinking maybe for the reg change to (08). What are people's experiences of waiting times. Thanks in advance. 57 Mini Cooper, Astro Black. |

| YLYP Reclamation Squad | The early-adopters have caused demand for the Dooper to be much higher than MINI can cope with at the moment, but that will settle down over the next few months. People ordering now are being told up to 6 months for delivery (although much of that could be 'spin' by the dealers) but I wouldn't pay too much attention to that. You'll still get March 1st delivery if you wait until December or maybe even January to place your order. |

Offline | My MINI dealer wanted £1000 deposit. My broker doesn't want a penny until delivery! ![]() You can change the spec up until a certain time before the build date, but you can be sure your dealer rather you didn't do that! If you want a Cooper D you'll be waiting until March 2008 anyway! |

Offline | I paid £250 deposit, because i've got such a wait for the car, they said they didnt want to take too much off me, I've just got to go back at some point in the new year to 'top it up' ![]() I thought that was very fair, at least im earning the interest on that money rather than them! ![]() |
