Offline | My Cooper D Auto arrives! Here she is! Not as clean as I would have liked (I’m going to see if I can get a free MINI Spa after the very dirty state she arrived in) but here are some piccies. Anyone else here have an Auto Diesel, or am I the first? Also, can anyone ‘spot the difference’? ![]() |

Offline | Very smooth! There is so much power at low revs. The auto gearbox keeps the gears high and the revs low - it takes some getting used to after the small petrol autos I've driven in the past. I'm keeping it out of Ds until it's run in, but I can tell she wants to 'fly'! I've got the new manual which includes the Clubman, but the interesting thing is the tech specs in the back show the Diesel auto is faster 0-60 than the Cooper petrol auto. Result! |

| MINI2 Newbie | Great car! I have had my Cooper D Auto for about 3 weeks. It is the same colour as yours but with 17 wheels. Very happy with it. The overall fuel consuption is about 48 mpg over the first 900 miles or so, I did expect a little better than that and will be interested in what you achieve. Tester 73 |

Offline | So, are you a happy chappy now? I've only done 300 miles so far, so the 1250 mile run-in period feels like it's going to take forever! I'm getting just over 50mpg so far, but I'm trying to use B-roads and not the motorways when possible. |
