Hello all,
Newish member here! Picked up my new Dooper a few weeks ago having traded in a Focus Asbo, as running costs are going to be more of an issue in coming months, and I intend to keep this car for many years.

Dooper Vs Asbo

Road Tax: £35 Vs £200+
Servicing: £150 (For 5 Years) Vs £157 (For first year)
Mpg: 50.7 and still rising Vs 25.4 At trade in
Congestion Charge: Possibly Exempt in future Vs Not a Chance!
Depreciation: ( value after 3 years): 59% Vs 45%

Before the Asbo I owned 2 previous model MCS, 1 pre and 1 post facelift. Dont get me wrong, the Asbo is a great car, its a good drive, better than the Dooper with an easier ride, and more practical in having what can be called a boot, also it has a decent stereo. However they are two completely different cars, and it is like comparing apples with oranges.

My Dooper is specced as follows;
Mini Cooper D
Pepper White
Chilli Pack
Black roof & mirrors
Black bonnet stripes
Leather lounge redwood red
MFSW
Xenons
Smokers pack

Possibly feeling I should have added the sports button and rear park sensors. Anyone know if these can be retro fitted, and if so can this be done by myself or a third party rather than paying main dealer prices. Speaking of retro fitting / mods thinking of the following, so any info / advise on suppliers, kits, prices etc would be welcome.

1. Illumnated kick plates. (Anyone do Dooper ones rather than Cooper!)
2. Extra headlamps.
3. White rear light lenses.
4. Cooper S filler cap
5. Chrome side indicator inserts (Anyone do 'D' rather than 'S' ones yet)
6. Colour coded skirts
7. Heated washer jets
8. Ecu remap.

Here are a few pics (hopefully) of my Dooper, as can be seen from the pics, I took the first lot of pics shortly after I picked her up. I basically had a full tank of fuel having covered 14 miles at 30.2 mpg with 415 miles left in the tank. Once I got home I had covered 367 miles at 50.7 mpg with 85 miles left in the tank (on board computer starting to complain about low fuel!). The route was mainly motorway driving at 80 - 90 mph.

Apologies for the quality of some of the photos, but I'm no David Bailey.
