Hi all, I've been lurking today and had a good old read - very interesting!

I ordered my 'dooper' on 7th November and I can pick it up tuesday!
Only problem with that is I haven't had my log book back from the DVLA yet so probably won't be able to

Sparkling silver
Black roof and bonnet stripes
Brushed alloy interior
Dark grey colour line
Cloth/Leather Ray Carbon Black seats
16" Bridge Spoke Alloys
Heated mirrors/washerjets
Chrome-line interior
Chrome-line exterior
Visibility pack
Rain sensor & lights

People might think they're a lot of money but IMO, you get a lot of car for it!

Thanks, no its not an ex-demo. Its been built...that's why I was quite surprised by your wait time.

Wow that is quick for a build! Im guessing that you must have just got in on a build slot where the spec could be changed to customer order!

The dealer phoned me today. My dooper is sitting there waiting for me...the excitement and the wait are killing me!

Yeah I'd gone by that time

I took one photo with my phone when I brought it home to send to someone, will have to upload it at some point.

I'm so happy with it, its such a great car. The build and the drive - you really don't get anything like it! Coming back on the M5 and M6 from Worcester was a bit nerve racking but you soon forget that really and enjoy the ride.

What can I say, I'm over the moon with it

BTW, what does everyone advise regarding running it in? I read something the other day but cannot remember what it said.

Well as you don't say which part of the country you're in I can't suggest anywhere... just drive I'm sure you'll find some fast roads (within the speed limit of course

)

Oooh, I'm near Wolverhampton (but didn't go to Benhams!), mostly 30pmh driving.

Have to confess I couldn' tell you what the price of diesel is! I'm one of these people who just fills up and doesn't pay much attention.

I had 3/4 a tank when I picked it up and just topped it up so it was full...came to just over £18

under 3500rpm for the first 1500 miles is what I did...well...1250 miles

last time I filled up...108.9!
