Question Lots of Cooper D's on MINI Cherished

Having browsed MINI cherished this morning, I was very surprised to see so many Cooper D's listed.
Is it that private buyers are not happy with the car? But surely if you set out to get a Diesel it pays to keep it for at least 24 months?
I know alot will be X Dems, and some a bargain at that!

I also looked at ONE D's and found one with Sat nav and a couple of other nice options, this was up at almost £13k with 54 thousand miles on the clock?!

For me I know that I would rather fork out the extra couple of grand and get a Cooper D with less than 10k on the clock!

Maybe people want the newer stop/start feature?

Can't see people selling a virtually new car (and losing thousands) to get a feature that will only save a little fuel

I would say most of those care are ex-demo/launch cars.

I made the mistake of looking for Cooper D's on there the other night

Found a rather tasty Chili Red + White one

I would think the majority are ex demos...

43 in the whole of the UK can hardly be considered a lot.

There are considerably more than 43 MINI dealerships in the UK, and most of those will already be running their second or even third D demonstrator, and that's before taking into account any D courtesy cars that may also have been registered.
