Alarm Trouble

Just wondering if anyone could help,

for the last week my alarm has been going off - everyday. Or to be more accurate, every night. Its only when I lock it at night that it goes off
This can be quite awkward as I work until 11pm and coming home around 11:40pm and then setting the alarm off (usually a few minutes later - tonight it was 10 minutes!) gets a bit embarressing.

I have nothing inside that's hanging, its parked on the drive in a cul-de-sac so its not traffic passing. Anyone got any ideas?

I have a feeling my next mini adventure is going to be back to the dealer!

This seems to be a fairly common problem with the alam (see thread in 2nd generation faults and fixes)

My Dooper has also been doing the same . It went tot he dealers a couple of weeks ago and the fault is with the fusebox. Mine is being replaced in the new year.

I would suggest taking it to the dealer as I believe it now a known fault with the MINI so they don't have to spend ages investigating!!

Hope this helps!!

As Amo says look in Faults and Fixes - plenty in there.
Be warned - the guy in service told my missus today that the fault will only get worse. She is also awaiting a new fuse box.
