Hello All

Been a member of this site for ages but can't remember if ive ever posted before!! Thought I better just say hello

Registered when I had a Red Cooper in (see attached piccie) but am coming back to the MINI fold with a new Dooper, gone for the following:

- Astro Black Metallic

- Clth/Lea Ray Cream White
- No Maintenance Pack
- 17" Crown Spoke Alloys
- Heated Mirrors/Washerjets
- Visibility Pack
- Roof & Mirror Caps in White
- Colour Line Cream White
- Interior Trim Piano Black
- Storage Compartment Pack
- White Indicator Lenses
- CHILI Pack

Can't wait! Pick up the new one on 25.02!

Sounds nice visualising it from your spec. How come you didn't go for the TLC maintenance pack or is that a mistake in your posting?

Welcome on board. Interesting opting out of TLC but the heated bits / vis pack is a total bonus at the moment!!

Hi

Thanks for the replies everyone, the spec was straight off the system at work, I only keep the car for about 9mths so don't really need to worry about the TLC package! (But I do think that is what the 'No maintenance pack' is.

I only keep the cars for 9mths as they are on the company lease scheme, I love it..... nice new shiny car every 9mths!

Hello All

Had the Dooper for two months now so I thought it was about time that I posted some piccies and gave some feedback!

Driving: Great is the only word I can use, the engine is smooth (bit noisy but it is a diesel!) bags of torque and a lot quicker than I thought it would be, the chassis is great and the 17" wheels and hard suspension combine to give great handling (the ride is a little hard but no where near as hold as my old Z4) Gearbox is great as well

Economy: IF driven carefullyI have been able to get 55+MPG but as i'm enjoying the handling and the punchy little engine I am running at 47 MPG which I think (baring in mind my 'spirited' driving style) is fantastic

General: I had a bit of a concern with the cream coloured interior and true enough the drivers seat picked up some blue from jeans pretty quickly but was easily cleaned. I think it looks brilliant!

The boot is a bit smaller than I would like but i've still managed to fit a TV in the back with the seats dropped so it wasn't a huge problem.

Another positive is how much better you are treated on the road, people actually let you out at junctions in MINIs

My only gripe is a ratlle from the drivers side dashboard but this isn't too bad yet, and seems to go away when the car is warmed up (cabin not engine)

Without a doubt, highly recomended!

Howdy, yep very pretty looking cooper D you got there, Iam getting identical mpg from my Clubman D, I only drive in a spirited way

Average 49mpg over 3500 miles, and thats mainly around town and with the sport button on! Woooohooooo. It is a mini after all not a 7 series BM

Oooh nice, I've ordered one very similar, though with Black roof. I'm glad to hear the Cream cleans easily as that was a concern of mine too!

What did you use to clean the blue off?
