Spoken with Anthony @ Customer Services today, they are going to be giving me £200 as compensation for all the hassle and issues ive had over the last 8 weeks. Its going to be set up as a credit at the dealership and ive to go through the Service Manager when I want to spend it on accessories of merchandise or whatever Not a bad result I felt, especially after the 2 conversations I had this morning, one with customer services and one with the dealership, and the end result was that I could send a letter stating that im not happy and everything thats happened but that I probably wouldnt get anywhere as the issues have been rectified!

Alls well that ends well - well hopefully!! *crosses fingers quickly*

That £200 wouldn't go very far.

It's a cracking looking car. And so much the better for running on Diesel - very good choice Sorry you had problems with it , but it looks like all is OK now

Glad the cars better….about time!
I’d still send the letter that’s a given. You may not expect anything but if it points out any failure they can rectify for the future, plus it always make you feel better firing off a letter when to be frank it has ****ed you right off….just be nice about it but to the point you were not happy..

I think i'll leave it now to be honest. I dont want to go upsetting anybody in the process of a letter, not when Ive already been offered and accepted the compensation. It looks like the wording of my original email and conversations with them was enough, and i'd rather not push anybody any further, as I may need help in the future, from both customer services and the dealership.

I have to say though, throughout the whole thing (all bar a couple of confusing calls) the guys at the dealership have been great, as were customer services.

Now ive just got to learn to trust the car again and not panic everytime the stop/start kicks in!!
