Offline | 2009 Model Year Hi Has anyone heard if there is to be any spec changes for the 2009 model year, new colours etc. My Cooper D will be almost 18mths old by then, so may be in need of a swop! ![]() Red D |

Offline | I wouldn't be surprised to see urea injection added to Ds so that they can get All-State approval in the US and meet Euro 5. (Possibly with the tank in space made available by moving the battery to the boot.) Just a guess, of course! David |

Offline | As far as I am aware ASC+T & DSC were an option on pre March 2008 cars. ![]() ![]() The Orange Blob As My Avatar Is The Mascot Of JetAlliance Racing Called 'Carli'. |

Online | aaaaaaaa So all Doopers have that, what about the Stop/Start? I know the dealer said it was now standard but that was a normal cooper I was in. I was told some Doopers have some things standard now on new builds from late last year on? What I don’t know. Would a December build have DSC….. |

Offline | DSC was not standard until recently on Doopers Stop/Start became standard last Autumn So your December build will have Stop/Start, but not DSC as standard Stop/Start is great and I would not want to do without. DSC was specified when ordered, but I am not sure whether it is a 'must-have' if you see what I mean. |

Offline | As far as I could look it up: ASC stops sending power to the wheel, whereas DSC actually brakes the wheel for you. I could be wrong, but that is what I understand. There is not much point to switching it off because it switches on quite late and that should still allow you to drive fast enough to panic your fellow road users. Switching off is for track days in my view. |
