Hi there sony!

At present, the most know chip tuners do standard remaps for the dooper, whose values are around the 135 hp and an increase of 20 nm..

However, and as you might know, the sky is the limit..

If you change some hardware also, take off the particles filter, put a bigger IC, and work on the turbo...you reach some nasty numbers...

Holy cow! That's impressive..! thing is, will it give you lots of black smoke? invalidate warranty?? If it didn't i'd be very tempted to add it to my dooper!

...gotta say again, just looking at those numbers again makes me feel pretty darn excited!

Someone has got to seriously try this out and do a major report here on this forum! Surely someone here has bought one of these right?|

Their 3 year guarantee inspires a lot of confidence i have to say... i've said it before and i'll say it again.. i'm very tempted!

Just had a look at the site on the link. Its a tune it box thingy they are selling not a remap! All that box will do is turn your fuel flow up and make your car chuck out black smoke. Stay clear and have a proper remap done on a rolling road.

This site claims a proper remap is the only way forward... have emailed but they keep dodging my questions about warranty.

P-Torque ECU Performance Software Specialists

This site claims their plug and play chip is so good that fleets of cars has been 'modded' with no affect to the warranty and according to them many large insurers recognise their work and the added benefits to their car!

Home » Diesel Power Tuning - Specialists in Diesel Tuning, Diesel Power and Diesel Performance using the DPT Tuning Box

Not sure who to believe.. anybody had any experience with any of these guys?

As per my reply on your previous thread some time ago.....P-Torque are site sponsors, and have an area to themselves lower down on the forum listing. There, you will find many threads recommending them to other site users, posted by satisfied site users. Recommends don't come much better IMHO.

They do......although it is not listed on their web.
They have popped up on several of these threads, suggesting +30bhp and 40-50nm IIRC.
