Hey All, Have an 08 Cooper D and its due an oil change in a month or so. Was thinking of having a go at doing it myself ( trying to avoid the ridiculous dealership prices ) , have done it a couple of times on other cars but never on a cooper d.
Anyone have any hints, tips or reasons not to do it...(wondering is there a valid reason why the dealers charge so much or are we just being ripped off!)
Nope, dealers still ripping us off over here...I got quoted 380eur! I never even heard of the TLC pack before I joined this forum! The salesguy never mentioned it, and usually they are quick to push these things
To be honest I'm hoping to do as much DIY servicing as possible, services can cost upwards of 600 quid in bmw/mini dealers over here!
Thanks for the info, will make sure to use the correct oil!
