United-Kingdom K&N Induction Kit

I am interested in modifying my 07 plate Mini Cooper D with a K&N air induction kit.

Has anyone carried out such a mod to the same car and if so please could they advise what improvements have been noted (acceleration, mpg, noise etc.) or even problems it may have caused.

Thank you

Hi

The two guys I know that have cooper d's use a panel filter and have had a remap done.
it makes a big difference mid range power, not much more noise but better fuel consumption
The car feels smoother and lot quick than before
Hope this help out

Save your money (and make sure the paper element is changed regularly) and put it towards a remap instead, imho

Same as above, save for a remap and get a Aftermarket panel filter. in some cases induction kits can lower the power output of the car as its sucking in all the hot air from the engine bay apose to being fed from outside
