Is the Cooper D bonnet same as petrol one/cooper bonnet?

Hi folks

After owning a Cooper S for 3 years I have replaced it with a Cooper D (sign of the times).

The bonnet has some damage so I was thinking of replacing it. Is it the exactly the same as a petrol Mini bonnet of the same age?

I believe the Cooper D bonnet has a larger subtle bonnet bulge to accomodate the diesel engine.

Thanks for that clarification.

Looking at images I did think the raised centre was wider. Probably easier to repair as I imagine finding a salvaged diesel bonnet will be harder.
