Gearbox leak

Hi,
I was under the car yesterday in order to carry out an engine oil change, but on removing the undertray I've come across what seems to be an oil leak on the gearbox.

Anyone know of any common issues or advice with leaking gearboxes, I've had a look around the forums but found nothing.

Its a Sep 07 MCD with 47K on the clock.

The car is booked in with the dealers in a couple of weeks time and I will update when more is known.

It turned out to be the o/s drive shaft seal that had gone.
