Off the top of my head, I recall a price of about 190 British pounds for the hot film MAF in the Cooper D.

surely if maf sensor was bust car would throw up a fault code, should scanner not have picked this up in live data.

I have had my scanner connected whilst driving and no codes came up, you dont get a definate fault with it as the data same to flow without fault ?????? and on the other hand too there is not a fault code for the crankcase sensor either ??????

Just to be sure, when you unplugged the MAF on the Cooper D, you got an EML? Was it right away, or how far did you have to drive?

I unplugged my MAF and drove for at least 20km and got absolutely no warning lights....

hmmmm very frustrating this I did it again without any issues, but it was a cooler night not sure if this made any difference:-/ well the wife is driving away at it just now so will leave it until the weather warms up when I will change the crankcase sensor. :-)

Hi Ben, sounds like you have had a right mare with your MINI. I am in a similar situation with the DPF light and was wondering if I should get the delete + remap. Would you recommend it? Do you think the work P Torque did caused the leak between the DPF and the turbo?

Thanks
