engine shut off while driving

Hi guys,

I was driving my 2009 Mini Cooper D this morning then the engine suddenly shut off while im accelerating, but all the electrical are still working fine.

Does anyone know what's happening to the car? Lucky I wasnt on the highway back then.

Cheers

Out of fuel? Blocked fuel filter? Poor quality fuel i.e water in it. Fuel pump failure. Do you get any fault warning lights come up?

not sure what's going on yet, it just happened again with full tank of fuel in it this morning.

I took it back to the dealer when it happened last time, dealer gave it a check and they reckon its low fuel in the tank and the car was accelerating up hill, but it happened again with full tank of fuel this time. what the hell is going on!!!
