Winning sound - MINI Cooper Forum

When I turn the car off and get out I can hear a whining sound coming from under the bonnet? is this normal for a mini? (Cooper D - 2009).

On my 2009 Clubman D, I get a high pitched whine and a lot of clicking on shut off. It's been doing it since I bought it and I haven't had any trouble with it.

I put it down to something related to the fuel or auxiliary cooling systems.
