Rad Fans Keep Running

When my rad fans start, they seem to run on without switching off.
The fans sometimes come on even when the engines still cold.
Can anyone tell me what the problem could be?

Hi den, if your mini is gen 2. Then you will require the new modified thoremostat from
The main dealer this is a knowen problem on gen 2 models both fuel types.
