Gear assistant disspeared

I recently had my tyres changed, as usual i had to reset the on board computer. While doing this i have somehow made the little gear assistant disappear.. Is there anyway i am able to get this back? Has it happened to anyone else?
Thankyou!

Yes, that little triangle loves to run away. From memory, you need to press and hold the stalk button once, until the gearchange indicator reappears. It doesn't have a place in the setup menu.

If you have the trip computer, you can find it easily by clicking until the mpg is displayed and pressing-and-holding then.

But even without the trip computer, you can get the indicator to come back, as I remember doing in on my last Mini.
