Query regarding chrome bits.

I am just about to spec up an SD and want the sport pack, my old R56 S with JCW aero kit had black trim around the front grill on the bonnet front but I cant seem to see this available now. Not being a fan of the chrome bits I wanted it taking off. Have I missed it somewhere on the configerator?

The JCW kit now appears to come with the chrome grill surround as standard... from when, I'm not sure, but every 2011 car I've seen lately with the kit on (irrespective of which model - factory JCW included) has had a chrome grill surround, bar one (Wish's car).

Maybe Wish can clarify...?

If I was ordering now, regardless of model, I'd want the JCW kit on, and with the black surround. Whatever the case is, the "old" black part will still be able to order... maybe it's a case of having the car delivered with the chrome surround, then asking the dealer to fit the alternative black part prior to collection?

Thanks, me too. My old 07 car had the black surround and looked far nicer.
