Not heading to surrey anytime soon but if fancy doing 3rd and 4rd gear timed recording I am up for that.

Thats where your 202bhp should make the difference ignoring the torque, I am apparently running at about 185BHP but really interested to see the difference.

Say 3rd from 40-70mph
then 4th 70-90mph

I will get some numbers tomorrow.

Do you find you get a drop off about 4,200rpm?

Windows up aircon off.... oh and you have to be 6ft and weigh about 14st or its just unfair.....

No but unless dms changed the injectors and fitted a larger turbo it won't be true, I guarantee if you took your car to another dyno it wouldn't have the power dms said they gave you. I'm pretty sure you have been cheated.

Mmm figures sound wrong to me as well, as yet mine is unmapped and has 143hp and 305Nm, so with a map I would expect around 175-180 and 370Nm.
A DPF delete adds about another 10hp.
But I certainly would not be happy if my car went for a map and came back with less torque.

I dont need to make my car go faster, I just need to learn to drive it faster.

I disagree with you here, my local tuner offers a remap on the 318d 143bhp engine to 199bhp. So it wouldn't surprise me if it ran at 202bhp

I think you will find you will get quoted the max possible from many adverts.. in most cases you would get less.. getting 56bhp from a tune & no mods is extreamly unlikely.

Be prepared for a new clutch and mass flywheel sooner than later.

I agree with you in some cases you get less but sometimes you get more. All I am trying to state is that i think it is possible to reach that sort of power without any other modifications

Hi guys. To everyone who has had a remap on their SD, does it honestly not make a difference to fuel consumption? Also, has anybody found that since getting a remap they've gone through about 20 sets of front tyres?

As I said at the beginning I have found a slight increase in MPG and as for tyres I have driven 13,000 miles and mine have loads of tread left but like any car depends how you drive it as I do lots of motorway miles.
