Oh no it's broke.........

Went to pull out of a very tight parking space today on a busy high street. As i was manouvering out, put my foot on the clutch pedal and it just stayed stuck down on the floor. The car lurched forward nearly into the back of the car in front, stuck my foot on the brake and it just stalled. Put it into neautral and got out and pushed it into the kerb. I have to say though instantly people were over to help straight away one of the pluses of mini ownership...
As i was only a couple of miles from home i got some one to push me a bit grinded it into second and drove it home without stopping just about......bmw assist came out said the clutch has gone DOH ! they have taken it away and given us an astra Diesel ugh
Fingers crossed its nothing serious...

if it isnt under warranty (i dont own a mini yet) then your are probably looking at £75 for a clutch then around £150-175 fitting.

just so you know, i had a clutch fitted on my cooper out of warranty and it came in at just over £1000 inc labour.
