I'm moving to SoCal next week and just started doing some car shopping on the internet

I would love to order one to spec, but that would take too long (I would need a rent a car for months

).
So I figure a used mini would be good, but i'm not sure what to look for... any advice?

I also like this one I found in a mitsubishi dealer...

If you would prefer to order to spec, are you not able to take your current Cooper with you and carry on using that whilst your new one is being built? Is there a problem taking a car from Canada to the US?

its a bit of a pain to import the car to US from Canada, so I'm better off selling it here and buy another vehicles down south

I'm pretty set on Black or Dark Silver in terms of color

Now its just a matter of finding a used mini for a good price in SoCal ASAP

FWIW, West Coast prices are ridiculous. I got mine with similar spec (22K miles) for about $5K less than that one is priced - but I bought it on the East Coast. You can probably save a few thousand if you buy outside of California - then again, it may not be worth the hassle for you if you're just moving in and dealing with that...

Make sure you get the service records from the used Mini before you purchse it.
