I just went to the MINIUSA site to spec a car for a girlfriend who had her heart set on a LY MINI. While this color is available for the Cooper it does not show in the Paint It section for the Cooper S. Guess they discontinued? Seems odd that they would have this color for one model and yet not for the other, being a very similar exterior . . . Anyone know for sure?

LY is discontinued on the MCS for the 06 model year. It is still available on the Cooper.

Definitely cancelled LY for the S

MINI has done this before: Silk Green & Velvet Red were Cooper only colors, Electric Blue is an S only color. Try speccin' an S in Solar Red, not going to happen. (in the US at least)
