Offline |  Ordered Mini S Checkmate Today Hi, Whilst I have been browsing this forum for some time - I took the Mini Cooper Parklane and the Sport out for a spin in September from my Local Dealer. Boy was I impressed with both cars  I have today placed an order for a Cooper S Checkmate with the following additions.Chrome Line Interior Front Centre Arm Rest Front Seat Heading Heated Mirrors/washerjets Multi-function Steering Wheel Possible Aero Kit (haven't made up my mind)  Sony CDX-7750 (Fitted by the dealer) Order number is 11932 and should be ready for collection in the first week of April  I really can't wait to get my hands on the new beast in my life  Cheers and a great forum for infomation (much of which I have taken on-board. Offline | Hi Miniboyblue I know it is gonna be a long wait - at least I know I will be getting what I want. Was looking a bit dodgy as to whether I would be able to get a Sport at all. It is my first mini - always wanted one, but have always driven Volvo's (current car is an S40 T4 CD - which is nice!) My partner now has it so cant wait for my new arrival! |

Offline | Congrats on your choice! My friend picked up his Checkmate yesterday. Saw it today,LOVELY! The colour is very 'quiet',my Hyper Blue ONE is more eye catching,but the overall package of the wheels,silver roof and mirrors and mad interior make it extra special. Fergal |

Offline |  **********************************UPDATE********** ******************************** Good news Heard from the dealer today Checkmate goes for build next week so looks like delivery will be on time! I am excited just like a kid at Christmas. Once registration is known/chosen will get her insured so that everything is in order when I take delivery!! Offline | 05 Checkmate PurpleCooper, Congrats'. You will be so kewl with your new 'mate. After my 05 MCS/JCW was on order, I saw the early spy-photos of the 06 Checkmate,which started me thinking. To make a long story shorter, I borrrowed the idea and made my own 05 Checkmate.Click on link- The paint is House of Kolor BC-25 black base-coat and HOK UC-35 clear. Yellow and black just go together.....BruceW |

I ordered my checkmate in October for a march 06 plate delivery, it arrived on thursday and i saw it soon as it was off the transporter and WOW!  . Just got a week to wait now, just can't wait till that day to get my hands on it! Chris Checkmate mad owner |

Offline | Hi All, Update - had a phonecall from the dealer on Tuesday - asked to pick the registration number! Car should be delivered to the Dealers next week - should hopefully get a peek at her! I am on holiday for two weeks so will not need to take time off work. Just have to sort out insurance - cheapest quote is £427 with DirectLine. Quote Me Happy wanted another £100 phew! Will get the insurance sorted out next week and get them to fax over the covernote to the dealer. This will hopefully ensure a smooth transition when I collect her in April! Really happy!
