Hi all I'm new here and love my 2004 mini cooper s 6 spd. like crazy. I figure that the shifter will be the first thing that I change out and was wondering what everytone is running and the pros and cons of each? Thank you in advance for the expert advice.

Personal exoerience.
I have an '02 MCs I put the ProMini ( B&M) kit in about a year and a half ago. That with the Whalen knob is very nice. Wouldn't trade it.
I have driven a couple with the add on bits like everybody makes. Not bad. Good bang for the buck.
I have not driven either of these on a car with the new tranny. That might be even niceer.

Has anyone here ran the alta and what do they set it at since it is adjustable??
