Offline | Upgrade to full leather with Chilli pack? I am about to order my Cooper S - hooray! But.. having ordered the Chilli pack I wonder what people think abot an upgrade to full leather seats - my heart says yes, my brain says 530UKP (800USD)! Most importantly, my wife says No!! Therefore, opinions please: Is the cloth/leather combo likely to look worn after 3-5 years (when I expect to sell) Does the cloth middle to the seats keep the drive/passenger from sliding around. I eagerly await your opinions Johnathan |

| Nice TTs......... | Hello, and welcome ! I think leather looks comfier, more lived in after a few years , better than a similiarly worn cloth seat, IMO...... However, a cloth centre to the seat will always be grippier than leather, though the side bolsters on the sports seats will hold you in position anyway......... ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | Re: Upgrade to full leather with Chilli pack? Well I originally went for Full Leather, because lets face it the Lapis Blue leather looks the business. But then I started to think about it, it looks good now, but what will it look like in a couple of year’s time. Also there is the cost, £530 is a lot of money. What made my mind up for me was sitting in a 3 series that had full leather. The difference in the quality was unbelievable, it made the Mini's looks cheap in comparison. Then I saw the picture below, taken from a Motor earlier in the year. Doesn't look promising... ![]() And £530 can buy a lot of toys ![]() Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | I have the 1/2 leather 1/2 cloth combo, it grips really hard and the two different materials compliment each other extremely well. I got a sweaty back driving with the full leather seats on my test drive.
