I'm an expectant checkmate dad

Mine is due in about a week

I sold my IB/W 03/03 MCS at the start of last week and all I can say is god these withdrawal symptoms are bad!

I'll try to remember to post up some pictures when I get hold of it – if all the excitement doesn’t result in short term memory loss

I'm 650 miles and 2 weeks tomorrow in and can't stop driving mine.

I am sure you will be a happy dad with a baby checkmate, pics are a must when you get her. Hopefully will be getting more taken soon :-)

Not sure how our standard Checkmate specs in Australia compare with everyone else’s but standard Aussie checkmate features, over and above the standard MCS stuff, include:

Space Blue with Silver Roof
Xenon’s
Sunroof
Auto wipers/headlights
17" flame spoke alloys
Limited Slip Diff
Space blue dash
Anthracite headliner
Three spoke multi-function steering wheel (in black because I got the Recaro's)
Chrono pack

Have since put a JCW flat pannel filter in her and would like JCW breaks as soon as i can

Picked up my Checkmate last sunday - Yeah!
Unfortunately the factory forgot to put on the bonnet stripe and the silver scoop, so have to get that on in 2 weeks. There's a couple of pics in my gallery - hope it works.

Finally to point where I am really happy with the way it looks. New Aero kit, Voxx Scorze wheels, M7 aero splitter, and color match wheel arches.

I’ve posted this in 50 places on M2 already, but who can contain this kind of excitement!!!!

I spotted my checkmate hiding at the dealers this afternoon

Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera to work so ignore the extreme crappyness of the phone photos and the purple cast that it seems to have added to the blues that make space blue look like BEP

Looks kind of odd without stripes

I should be able to pick it up on Thursday afternoon
