Have those of you who have road tax due this month realised that its been increased from £165 to £190 ? Effective immediately ! Aaaaarrrgggghhh !

£210 for 4x4's I believe isn't it?

Wonder if the increase has affected smaller Derv units like the MINI.

£115 it currently is for 12 months

I put a deposit down on a mcsc 2 weeks ago, and i'm picking it up tomorrow. Got a call today saying that road tax has gone up £25. The dealer didn't say he was going to invoice me for it, but I bet he's going to try.

I pick my Cooper S up tomorrow and the dealers taxed it today and they had to pay the extra as I signed a contract when I bought the car stating I would pay £165 for the tax. Ha!

Yeah it is a bit unfairly 'steep'. Mind you, after being a passenger in the GTT demonstrator, i'd say Gord should have doubled Roland's tax, as he seems to use more tarmac than most (sideways!).

...... You forgot to mention you make a nice tax-disc holder, Roland.

- I'd sack your advertising department for missing these golden oportunities......
