Offline | I haven't seen the interior pictures yet of the GP. Those darkened speedometer and rev counter dials are just awesome. Can they be retrofitted?!! ![]() But I just hate alloy wheels with less than five main spoke directions, but I'm probably the only one. ![]() |

Offline | not really feeling the wheels either, also the read mirror cover and red rear side panel. I love the color and the spoiler. I ordered a JCW MCS and for what the GP's worth I would have hoped for more in the HP department. I mean 207 for the JCW and its like 214 for the GP. I found the rear seat delete for 99.00 US and a MTH tune will make a JCW car more capabale the GP. Another Idea is a 2% crank pully has the simular effect to removing 100 pounds from the car the same weight Removed from the GP. So do I like the GP yes, except for the two items mention in the top of my reply, would I buy one, yes but only because its a Limited Edition, Would I buy it for performance , nope I'd stick with the JCW, get the ECU tuned and swap the springs = less money and should still retain the full mini warrenty. ![]() |

Offline | I saw it up close at the geneva motorshow... I don't like the wheels and the red mirror caps either. Honestly, it looks a bit like a chav-machine. Ok, it's not all bad, at least it sounds excellent on those videos. I was hoping that the GP would be a one of those "got to have it" machines. But sadly it missed the mark for me. Ben |

| polizei -NAM and Focaljet | Yea, I think a LOT of people are going to be disappointed when it's released. They should have made it a "performance" MINI and made it crazy. It's basicly a stock JCW MINI with a wing, wheels, and red mirror caps....and seat delete. -Cody "Gizmo" - 03' IB/B MCS! |

Offline | Why disappointed? I know exactly what I'm buying as I am sure others are. ![]() Granted power wise it is basically a stock JCW S, albeit with a slightly tweaked Rev range. I did spec up a JCW S but it was going to cost me a few grand more than the GP. So I thought I'd go for it. It is something a bit different and is great value for the money. Since it is a last of line, I also think the GP will hold it's money slightly better than a stock JCW S. Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | Yep, that's that I thought it was going to be when I wrote the check. Come on now, play fair. You guys who are slagging the GP need to include a photo of your MINI, so we GP buyers can tell you what we think of your cars. By the time most people in the states get to see a GP, they will be long sold. My dealer has only one left. ![]() ![]() |
